Richard leaves near Nenagh in Co. Tipperary. He is a self taught artist who loves working with bog oak. When possible he seeks to develop the natural shapes already present in the wood trying to get a balance and flow into the finished pieces. He has exhibited in Kenny’s Gallery, Galway An Damhlann, An Spideal, Gleeson’s Gallery, Thurles and at many other venues and has work in many public and private collections.
