Ella Kavanagh

Ella Kavanagh graduated with a B.Ed (Hons) degree in 1982. She later chose to pursue a professional career in fine art after attending painting classes with Eoin de Leastar. Since then, Ella has exhibited extensively in both solo and group-shows throughout Ireland and internationally. Venues include the Origin Gallery and the Brown Gallery, both in Dublin, together with the Lavit Gallery in Cork, the Dyehouse Gallery in Waterford, the Collyer-Bristow Gallery, London the Okarina Gallery in Slovenia, the Galleria D'Arte in Paris and the Ganggaleria der Stadwerke in Austria. She has also exhibited works during the Royal Hibernian’s Annual Exhibitions. She has also been selected to work at the Old Lyme residency in Connecticut in 2006, together with the Florence Biennale and in selected shows in Georgia, USA and Barcelona towards the end of 2005.
