Gallery.
Mary Dillon opened Almond Tree Gallery, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary in 2007. Almond Tree Gallery acts as a showcase for the paintings of Mary Dillon and also showcases the work of both emerging and established artists from around Ireland through its regular gallery exhibitions.
Almond Tree Gallery has been named after the Almond Tree that grows in the beautiful cottage garden that surrounds the gallery. The gallery is ideally located a stones throw from the N7 ring road that surrounds Roscrea. Just take the turn into Roscrea town from the Thurles Road roundabout and we are less than 500m on the right just after the Ambulance depot and across from the old Convent building.
Almond Tree Gallery & Living is a welcoming and intimate space where you can indulge your senses. Not only do we give you an opportunity to enjoy a variety of artwork from some of Irelands top artists but we also offer a framing service and a place to shop for imaginative gifts for the home, children, or someone special.
Living.
We carry a range of contemporary yet classic soft furnishings, tableware, glassware, candles, jewellery, soft toys, baby blankets, gift cards, hand crafted painted furniture and lots of interesting surprises to treat yourself or that special person in your life. We source our gifts items from Ireland, France, Denmark, Sweden, England and many of our Fair trade items originated in India, Madagascar, Africa and South America.
Many of our products are Fair Trade products and as far as possible we aim to source products that are manufactured with respect and a sense of responsibility and care for our environment.
We also offer gift vouchers for gifts and for paintings by Mary Dillon, so that whether there is an engagement, a birthday, a wedding,
a retirement or Christmas, the person who receives the voucher can come in and choose for him or herself.
Framing Service
We offer a professional, efficient framing service where we are happy to discuss with you your framing needs using our wide range of mouldings and acid free mounting boards. Whether you have a special photograph, your own artwork, a print, or a family heirloom you would like to protect, we will have the frame for you. Just come in and talk to our trained staff who will be happy to help.
